Transparency and accountability are the fundamental for HOSAA in delivering humanitarian and developmental projects for vulnerable people in Afghanistan. Since HOSAA established and started implementation of projects in Afghanistan the organization is accountable upward to donor and downward to the people of concern. The organization disclose project relevant information to all stakeholders (donors) through annual report, website and project completion reports. For accountability to people of concerns the organization involve them in project proposal design, beneficiary’s selection and sharing the project information for the accountability and transparency. HOSAA has successfully implemented a series of measure to underpin the principles of transparency in the organization operations and has developed the monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning policy. These efforts not only make information about HOSAA’s work easier to access, understand and use, but further support the endeavors to make the organization more efficient, responsive and collaborate and better able to protect the people of concern.
