About Our Executive Director, Mohammad Edrees Safi
Mohammad Edrees Safi serves as HOSAA 1st Executive director, overseeing the organization work for vulnerable people in all over Afghanistan.
Mr. Mohammad Edrees Safi bring to the role decades of experience in non-governmental organization with a focus on empowering vulnerable people around 34 provinces of Afghanistan. He has experience in developing high impact programs and projects to support women, girls, children and people with disabilities in humanitarian crises.
He has experience in building and managing workforce, mobilizing resources and having good network and coordination with governmental authorities in Afghanistan.
Mr. Safi was appointed executive director by Board of Trustees on March, 03, 2019. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Bakhtar University Kabul Afghanistan
About HOSAA
HOSAA works in the Afghanistan toughest places to reach the most vulnerable women, children, adolescent girls and people with disabilities. The primary focus of HOSAA is on the grass root level, on the problems of the poor considering the primary areas of concern; GBV (Gender Based Violence), education, health, food security, renewable energy, clean water and hygiene, shelter and livelihood. We are active members of FSAC, WASH, Nutrition, ES/NFI clusters and have close coordination, and attending meeting on monthly basis. Before, during and after humanitarian crises and emergencies, HOSAA is on the ground, bringing lifesaving and hope to people of concerns. We are national non-profit, non-governmental, non-political and humanitarian organization established with a registration no of 4673 on 13th March, 2019 at the Department of NGOs in the Ministry of Economy the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
